Birthstone Bracelet Guide: Tennis, Chain, and Charm Styles

Birthstone bracelets come in four architectures — the tennis bracelet (uniform stones all around), the station bracelet (stones spaced along a chain), the charm bracelet (a stone per charm, added over time), and the beaded strand (full-stone energy pieces) — and each says something different: occasion, elegance, family story, and meaning respectively.

The tennis bracelet, decoded. One row of matched stones, hinge-flexible, safety-latched — the style that survived its 1987 naming moment (a player lost one mid-match at the US Open, on camera).
