Gemini (May 21 – Jun 20) crosses two calendar months, so the exact answer is a pair of drawers. A Gemini born May 21–31 takes May's emerald. A Gemini born June 1–20 takes June's stone — and June is the most generous month on the chart, with three official options: pearl (the traditional pick), moonstone, and alexandrite, the color-change modern stone added to the list in 1952. No other sign offers its late-born members a three-way choice.

If that feels like a lot of asterisks for one sign, the tradition itself never settled on one stone either. Is agate the Gemini zodiac stone?
